Bradford M. Stern has more than thirty-five years of experience providing legal services to private and public sector clients, including suppliers and consumers, in regulatory, transactional, legislative, and litigation matters involving the electric, gas, telecommunications, cable television and broadband, water, wastewater, renewable energy and solid waste industries.
Prior to his legal career, Brad was a Licensing Engineer with United Engineers & Constructors, where he had project supervisory experience in the siting and licensing of large-scale coal and nuclear power plants, and high voltage transmission facilities, focused on environmental and socio-economic aspects.
Brad’s experience includes successfully petitioning for reimbursement of telecommunications fee overpayments, litigating and negotiating outcomes inutility rate cases, representing clients in infrastructure and utility service matters, advising on solar power development transactions, and obtaining competitive local exchange and eligible telecommunications carrier designations for wireline and wireless service providers. His previous work included an in-house legal position at a mid-Atlantic energy consulting firm providing competitive supplier purchasing. energy efficiency and demand side management technical support for public and private sector clients. He also ran a solo practice handling corporate and regulatory matters in the above-stated industries.
