Associate
Matthew C. Wells is an associate in the firm’s litigation group and represents clients in transportation and product liability matters.
Matthew regularly collaborates with clients to assess their needs and work to develop a plan. He provides strategic counsel and works on day-to-day legal matters, including preparing responsive pleadings, reviewing discovery, and working with opposing counsel. He has experience negotiating stipulations of dismissal and drafting motions to dismiss, to compel arbitration, and to enforce subpoenas.
Prior to joining Norris McLaughlin, Matthew was a product liability associate for an AmLaw 200 firm.
Matthew earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.A. from Montclair State University. After graduating from law school, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable James F. Hyland and the Honorable Bruce J. Kaplan in the Middlesex County Superior Court.
