Associate
Minal Naseem is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Group where she provides strategic counsel to corporate clients on a variety of business matters, including compliance issues and international transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial transactions, expansions, reorganizations, as well as corporate structure and governance issues.
Before moving to New York, Minal worked for a boutique law firm and was in-house counsel for a medical service provider in Dubai, giving her experience working with multinational companies on cross-border transactions and gaining valuable insights into various foreign regulations impacting businesses. She has extensive transactional experience in negotiating and preparing media and marketing, IT, retailer, service, vendor and supply, distribution, partnership, and franchise agreements. She regularly conducts due diligence in complex deals and has participated in arbitration disputes that resulted in favorable tribunal awards. She has additional experience with matters regarding data protection and compliance with a variety of laws, including the GDPR and various state-level privacy and data protection requirements.
Minal earned her LL.B. from The University of Buckingham, graduating with first class honors. While there, she was part of the Student Law Society’s Executive Committee and wrote for the Buckingham Student Law Review. Minal called to the Bar of England and Wales at Lincoln’s Inn. She also received her LL.M. from City, University of London and graduated with distinction. Minal is an Accredited Civil/Commercial Mediator by ADR-ODR International.
