    William L. Brewer is a member of the firm’s Management Committee. He focuses his practice in the areas of commercial real estate financing, leasing, acquisitions and sales, loan restructuring and workouts, loan sales and purchases, and distressed debt transactions.

    Bill has a wide variety of experience in all aspects of commercial real estate in his 25+ years of representing clients.  Bill represents lenders and borrowers in connection with commercial loans secured by real property and other assets, mezzanine loans and construction financing, with significant experience in workouts and foreclosures. He also advises lenders on restructuring defaulted loans and negotiating forbearance agreements, deed in lieu agreements, and modifications and amendments to loan documentation. In addition, Bill drafts and negotiates leases on behalf of landlords and tenants involving retail, gym, restaurant, industrial, and office properties, and represents purchasers and sellers of commercial real estate covering all asset classes. He also advises clients on the sale and purchase of distressed assets, and lenders in connection with the financing of such transactions.

    Bill also has considerable experience representing lenders and borrowers in transactions involving commercial mortgage-backed securities. No aspect of this advertisement has been approved by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.

    • Represented a lender in connection with a $14.8 Million securitized CMBS loan secured by a multifamily building in Las Vegas, Nevada
    • Represented a lender in connection with a $28 Million securitized CMBS loan secured by a multifamily building in Columbus, Ohio
    • Represented a lender in connection with a $8.5 Million securitized CMBS loan secured by an office building in Dallas, Texas
    • Represented a lender in connection with a $60 Million securitized CMBS loan secured by a shopping mall in Twin Falls, Idaho
    • Represented a lender in connection with modifying a $20,000,000 mortgage loan secured by a shopping center in Baltimore, Maryland
