Annmarie Simeone, a Member of the law firm of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will be conducting an audio conference entitled Paralegal Utilization 2008: Strategies to Improve Your Bottom Line. She serves as the firm-wide Paralegal Coordinator and is principally responsible for day-to-day oversight of the firm’s Litigation Department paralegal staff. Arthur G. Greene, a Principal of Boyer Greene, LLC, a law firm consulting organization, will conduct the audio conference with Simeone. The audio conference, which is sponsored by the Institute of Management and Administration (IOMA), will be held on May 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
The 90-minute interactive seminar is designed to provide strategies on how to enhance paralegal utilization to improve firm profits, create a paralegal utilization model that works for individual law firms and improve paralegal efficiency to ease concerns raised by cost-conscious clients. The goal of the seminar is to help firms effectively use paralegals to produce bottom-line benefits.
Simeone, a resident of Woodbridge, concentrates her practice on labor & employment litigation, breach of contract actions and business torts. She has a wide range of experience in labor & employment litigation in both federal and state courts, primarily defending management in discrimination and sexual harassment claims, wrongful discharge suits, and claims brought under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, Americans With Disabilities Act, and a multitude of other civil rights and anti-discrimination laws. In addition, she represents parties in breach of contract claims and in actions involving restrictive covenants and confidentiality agreements.
Simeone earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University in 1993 and her B.A., summa cum laude, from St. John=s University in 1990. She is admitted to the New Jersey Bar and is a member of the New Jersey State, Middlesex County and Somerset County Bar Associations, as well as the National Association of Women Lawyers and New Jersey Women Lawyers Association.
