These are no doubt challenging times for everyone and, according to the CDC, “fear and anxiety about a disease can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions” in all of us. This fact, coupled with our continued commitment to our professional and personal responsibilities, can add to the stress of the current environment in which we are living due to the coronavirus crisis. The CDC says that “coping with stress will make you, the people you care about, and your community stronger.” Norris McLaughlin’s Women’s Forum members took this to heart and got together for an informal video chat and shared some of the ways that they have been managing the “new normal.”
The Women’s Forum supports and promotes the success and advancement of women lawyers within the firm and in the legal community. Here are some of the inspired ideas from our Women’s Forum members for balancing life and work responsibilities during this time:
The Norris McLaughlin Women’s Forum members are successful, dedicated attorneys who continue to meet the legal needs of our clients during these challenging times. In the process, they have adapted to the new normal and, hopefully, have given you some ideas about maintaining mental health and wellness as we get through this crisis in time together. We encourage you to stay informed about the importance of these issues and have included some links that you can check out for more information:
