John Buckley focuses his practice on employment law and commercial litigation.

John’s employment practice focuses on matters ranging from breach of employment agreement and restrictive covenants to discrimination, disability, and wage and hour violations under federal and state laws.  He has practiced before federal and state courts and labor and employment agencies.  John has defended employers against unfair labor practice charges and also assists clients in negotiations during collective bargaining.  He also drafts and revises employee handbooks and manuals.  Along with his colleagues, John has authored numerous articles and presented training programs to clients on a wide variety of labor and employment law issues.

In his litigation practice, John is actively involved in a wide range of issues including business litigation, landlord/tenant matters, and contract disputes.

Prior to joining the firm in 2014, John served as law clerk to the Honorable A. Richard Caputo, United States District Judge, for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

While at George Mason University School of Law, John served as Senior Articles Editor for the Journal of Law, Economics & Policy and interned for judges on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.

Outside of work, John serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Council and the Advisory Board of the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania.
