Yana Zhuravel primarily focuses her practice on commercial real estate matters, including real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, construction, and leasing. Yana strives to understand her clients’ goals in order to achieve the optimal outcome.
Yana represents financial institutions, private lenders, investors and developers in a wide range of transactions including construction, bridge, permanent and non-traditional financings. In addition, Yana advises clients on acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate properties and development sites as well as negotiation of commercial leases. Further, Yana regularly represents developers and private parties in the sale and purchase of condominiums, co-operatives, and residential properties.
Prior to joining the firm, Yana was an associate at a firm in New York, representing clients in real estate transaction and financing related matters, including construction, bridge and permanent loans, as well as workouts and debt restructurings. During the preceding five years she managed a private law practice representing developers and owner/operators on a variety of commercial and residential real estate matters.
While in law school at Benjamin N. Cardozo, Yana had the honor of serving as an Editor for the esteemed Arts & Entertainment Law Journal and received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship.
