In counseling businesses, Rebecca draws on her experience as a former in-house corporate attorney. Having worked in business, Rebecca is keenly aware of the unique and varied legal needs of business clients, especially in today’s climate. Rebecca is well-versed in providing legal strategy and guidance for daily business issues, contentious employment matters, third-party disputes, discrimination charges, and unexpected challenges such as pandemic-related impacts.
As a former elected District Attorney and chief law enforcement officer, Rebecca excels at representation in high-stakes situations such as internal and governmental investigations, charges and indictments, crisis management, and regulatory and business compliance.
Recognizing the importance and increasing impact of the cyber world on businesses, Rebecca secured certification in cybersecurity. Armed with current cyber knowledge, Rebecca assists businesses with understanding and managing cybersecurity risks according to the NIST framework and best practices. Her focus encompasses: creating a culture of cyber awareness and data protection; assisting clients in the midst of a cyberattack; determining breach notifications required by law, and guiding recovery post-attack.
Rebecca’s extensive and storied career includes a former partner position in a prominent Philadelphia law firm, ownership of a small business, and representation of a former President of the United States.
