    Bridgewater, NJ (June 5, 2014) – Steven A. Karg, a Member of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., has been nominated and approved to serve on the Meritas Board of Directors.  The 21-member Board of Directors leads the membership organization along with its principal officers.  Board members serve a three-year term and are elected to reflect the size and geographic composition of the membership.

    Karg will also serve a second term on the Member Relations & Marketing (MRM) Committee, which supports Meritas Headquarters in developing and managing initiatives that encourage member engagement, expand Meritas visibility, and increase referrals.

    Karg focuses his practice on commercial litigation with an emphasis on products liability defense. He has substantial experience defending manufacturers and/or distributors of a wide variety of products including prescription medications.   He represents clients at both the trial and the appellate level.

    Steven Karg to Present at Annual Mass Tort Law Program

    Bridgewater, NJ (August 31, 2012) – Steven A. Karg, a Member of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will co-moderate and serve on the panel for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education’s “Mass Tort Law Review: An Essential Update 2012.” The seminar will take place on Monday, September 10, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m., at the Law Center in New Brunswick. Karg will represent the defense side and will present a segment entitled “Developments in Class Actions.”

    Karg speaks about products liability issues to various organizations, such as the American Bar Association, Meritas, Inc., New Jersey Corporate Counsel Association, New Jersey Defense Association, New Jersey Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, New Jersey Chapter of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society, Northeast Pharmaceutical Attorneys and the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.     Bridgewater, NJ (July 12, 2010) – Steven A. Karg, a Member of the Bridgewater-based law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will serve as an Officer to the Somerset County Bar Association (SCBA) for the new term. Karg has been elevated to the position of President. The Officers and Trustees of the SCBA have a long tradition of exceptional service to the legal community and public.
