Bridgewater, NJ (December 9, 2014) – The New Jersey Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers raised $5,010 for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Jersey in its fourth annual holiday fundraiser.  A check was presented to Liza Kirschenbaum, Esq., Associate Director of CASA of New Jersey, by Robert J. Adinolfi, President of the Chapter and a founder and senior partner of Adinolfi & Lieberman, P.A.; and Jeralyn L. Lawrence, the organizer of the event and a Member of the largest law firm in Somerset County, Norris McLaughlin, P.A., at the last AAML meeting of the year at Steakhouse 85 in New Brunswick.

“The Chapter is thrilled to once again provide this donation to such a worthwhile cause.  Of course, it would not have been possible without the support of our board, members, and friends, who generously donated their time and resources.  We are truly proud to be able to support such a wonderful organization,” said Adinolfi.

The mission of CASA of New Jersey, a non-profit organization, is to support a statewide network of local, community-based CASA programs through which trained volunteers advocate for the best interests of children who have been removed from their families because of abuse or neglect. CASA of New Jersey provides support primarily through funding, training, public education, and technical assistance.  Its vision is that any child in New Jersey who has been removed from their family because of abuse or neglect will have access to a Court Appointed Special Advocate.
