Sorrentino a Presenter at Lehigh County Paralegal Lunch & Learn
Allentown, PA (January 23, 2013) – Lauren L. Sorrentino, an Associate with Norris McLaughlin, P.A., presented What Everyone Should Know About Child Support on January 23rd at the Bar Association of Lehigh County in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Sorrentino discussed child support, including its establishment, calculation, enforcement, and the interplay between child support and other legal issues.
“Many people do not realize how complex the issue of child support can be. It is helpful for professionals and parents alike to have an understanding of how child support amounts are derived, and to recognize how the failure to pay child support can adversely impact numerous aspects of people’s lives,” said Sorrentino.
Sorrentino, an associate in the firm’s Pennsylvania office, focuses her practice on matrimonial and family law including divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, prenuptial and property settlement agreements, child support, child custody, and protection from abuse. Sorrentino is actively involved in the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Family Law Section and is currently a Council Member of the Section. She previously served on the Executive Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Family Law Section and co-chaired the Section’s Domestic Violence Committee. Sorrentino has published articles on a variety of family law topics and served as a panelist at family law educational programs.
