The article addresses a New Jersey Supreme Court argument regarding an employee protection case utilizing the Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act (CUMMA) and the Law Against Discrimination (LAD). It then goes on to discuss the changes companies may see going forward when it comes to medical marijuana in the workplace. In the article, Andrew recommends that businesses should review their employee handbooks and testing procedures, stating that “…now is the time that you have to start.”
