Barbara Hollenbach to Participate in Pennsylvania Bar Institute Best Practices Forum

Barbara L. Hollenbach, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will participate in the Pennsylvania Bar Institute “Best Practices: The Well-Prepared Workers’ Compensation Lawyer,” sponsored by PBA Workers’ Compensation Law Section on Wednesday, May 29, 1:00 – 4:15 p.m.

The 2019 Best Practices forum features a distinguished panel of judges and attorneys who will analyze the top issues including preparedness, professionalism, and communication in relation to WCAIS, hearings and mediations, and evidence. For more information, please click here.

A resident of Bethlehem, Hollenbach focuses her practice on workers’ compensation, professional liability, products liability, and general litigation. She is certified as a specialist in workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Her civil litigation experience includes representing manufacturers of motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and other products; as well as professionals including psychiatrists and veterinarians. She also represents clients in will contest actions including allegations of undue influence and lack of mental capacity. She has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for the past 10 years.  She was the first woman elected president of the Northampton County Bar Association, and is a past chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Law Section.  From 2011 – 2016, Hollenbach served on the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Rules Committee.  A Fellow of The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers, Hollenbach has co-authored and co-presented the Pennsylvania Bar Institute Workers’ Compensation Practice & Procedures manual and course since 2000.  An active community volunteer, she serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites.

Hollenbach earned her J.D., cum laude, from Dickinson School of Law in 1978, and her B.A., with highest distinction, from Pennsylvania State University in 1975.
