New York, NY (August 25, 2025) – Benjamin D. Schwartz, associate attorney in Norris McLaughlin, P.A.’s Intellectual Property and Litigation groups, will be a session coordinator and moderator for AIJA’s Legal Track session “Session 5 - Global Procurement vs. Local Regulations: A Legal Tug-of-War in International Trade” on Thursday, August 28th, 2025, at 10am EDT. Ben is the USA moderator representative for this session.
Geared toward clients with an international supply chain and customer base, the session covers multi-jurisdictional and multi-disciplinary expectations and concerns for international trade and approval/nationalization of internationally traded products. Understanding that different countries have complex trade laws, the session will cover proactive measures for trade plans, international trade laws and sanctions, and how the relationship between law firms, clients, and public authorities can work together for mutual benefit.
Schwartz will co-moderate with Christopher Wolters -- Blomstein, Germany.
