Svetlana (Lana) Ros, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will be a panelist for “Cannabis Investments: Myths, Regulation, and Opportunities” at an event hosted by CFA Society New York, on Thursday, May 9, from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., in New York City.

Ros focuses her practice in the area of health care law, specifically in the area of civil and administrative litigation, with a concentration in professional licensure and general defense before government agencies proving oversight to the practice of medicine and dentistry. She also handles transactional and regulatory matters affecting healthcare providers. As a member of the Cannabis Law Group, drawing on her extensive knowledge and background in dealing with regulatory agencies, she assists healthcare providers, as well as, non-healthcare clients to navigate the complex and developing the area of medical cannabis. She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.S. in biotechnology and nutrition from Rutgers University.
