Lana Ros, a Member of the Bridgewater-based law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., was a speaker at the Medical Society of South Jersey’s Pain & Practice Management Seminar on Thursday, July 27. She spoke on NJ Opioid Regulations and Requirements for Healthcare Practitioners.
The seminar, held at the Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees, also featured lectures on pain management updates, genetic testing, and financial health. Singer Kelly Wright and musician Paul “SEQUENCE” Ferguson also performed during the night.
Ros focuses her practice in the area of healthcare law, including civil and administrative litigation, professional licensure defense, hospital medical staff matters, hospital disciplinary actions, regulatory compliance, managed care and government audits, and refund demands and investigations. She also handles transactional and regulatory matters affecting healthcare providers. She has successfully defended physicians before medical boards, OPMC, and SBME, and in OPD investigations, as well as Medicare fraud, fraud and abuse, RAC audits, Medicare audits, OIG fraud, health care fraud, medical audits, and health plan billing audits. Ros frequently lectures at hospitals throughout New Jersey and New York about legal issues affecting healthcare professionals. She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.S. in biotechnology and nutrition from Rutgers University.
