Svetlana (Lana) Ros, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will present “Legal Cannabis and the Health Care Industry” with Franklin M. Lee from Tydings & Roseberg in Baltimore, Maryland, and Seann M. Frazier from Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs in Atlanta, Georgia.
About the Presentation
Hosted by Meritas Law Firms Worldwide, the premier global alliance of independent law firms working collaboratively to provide businesses with qualified legal expertise, the webinar will be available Thursday, November 7, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Ros will provide a brief overview of the recent expansion of the New Jersey Medical Marijuana Program. She will focus predominantly on factors health care providers should take into account when considering incorporating medical marijuana into their medical practice, including lack of guidance from licensing agencies on the standard of care.
“The ever-changing New Jersey medical marijuana laws have been one of the more interesting topics in the health care industry, so I look forward to continuing to educate and be educated, especially in comparison to how other states have progressed,” said Ros.
