    Mo Bauer to Speak at 2019 NJSBA Annual Meeting and Convention

    Morris S. Bauer, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will be a panelist for “Small Business and Individual Chapter 11 Cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey” on Friday, May 17, 11:15 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., as part of the Business and Tax Law Track for the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) Annual Meeting and Convention at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.

    The multi-day event, May 15 – May 17, will feature speakers and presenters including members of New Jersey’s federal and state, appellate, and local courts. The NJSBA serves, protects, fosters, and promotes the personal and professional interests of its members, serving as the voice of New Jersey attorneys. It fosters professionalism and pride in the profession and the NJSBA and provides educational opportunities to New Jersey attorneys to enhance the quality of legal services and the practice of law.     A resident of Long Valley, Bauer is a member of the Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Group at Norris McLaughlin. He represents debtors, creditors’ committees, financial institutions, landlords, and trade creditors in Chapter 11 proceedings of publicly and closely-held corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships.

    Bauer is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association (Debtor/Creditor Section), the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Turnaround Management Association. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, the U. S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Bauer earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, and his B.S. from Dickinson College.
