SOMERVILLE, NJ – Norris McLaughlin, P.A. has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey for the second year in a row. The firm ranked among the top 20 mid-sized companies and first among New Jersey mid-sized law firms for 2007. Norris McLaughlin, P.A. was honored at the Best Places to Work in New Jersey evening awards ceremony on Monday, April 16, 2007 at the Hilton East Brunswick.

Best Places to Work in New Jersey is a survey and award program designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in New Jersey, which benefit the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses. Twenty five medium-sized companies and twenty five large-sized companies are chosen for this honor on the basis of their employees’ workplace survey results. Norris McLaughlin, P.A. has been named one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey in the medium-sized company category.
Companies from across the state of New Jersey entered the two-part evaluation process which determined the 50 Best Places to Work in New Jersey. The first part, which accounted for 25% of the total evaluation, involved the assessment of each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part, which accounted for approximately 75% of the total evaluation, consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and their individual rankings. Best Companies Group managed the registration and survey process in New Jersey with assistance from ModernThink LLC, who analyzed the data to determine rankings.
