Danielle M. DeFilippis, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., and Co-Chair of its Intellectual Property Practice Group, has been recognized by NJBIZ in its "2021 Manufacturing Power 50" list for the third year in a row.
The list includes individuals who have made an impact on the state's manufacturers.

The list includes individuals who have made an impact on the New Jersey manufacturing sector and supply chains. Danielle was honored once again for her work counseling food manufacturers. She is called upon time and time again to present on IP issues for food and beverage companies, and while that's her bread and butter, she has a bevy of experience in other realms as well: liquor, jewelry, cosmetics, sports, and entertainment, to name a few, maintaining her focus on trademark prosecution and litigation.
DeFilippis focuses her practice on intellectual property matters and litigation. She appears on behalf of individual and corporate clients in all phases of litigation from commencement through trial. Danielle regularly serves as lead counsel in cases before federal and state courts, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and alternative resolution forums.
Danielle has represented clients in various, most notably food and beverage, liquor, jewelry, cosmetics, sports, and entertainment, focusing on trademark prosecution and litigation. Her cases have involved trademark and copyright infringement, false advertising, commercial disparagement, business torts, deceptive trade practices, Lanham Act claims, state and federal unfair competition laws, and other business disputes.
Danielle is involved in organizations including the IP Section of the New York State Bar Association and the International Trademark Association (INTA), serving on the Trademark Offices Practice Committee. She is a regular contributor to Norris McLaughlin's trademark, copyright, and unfair competition law blog, More Than Your Mark®.
While in law school, Danielle was Editor and Director of Staffing & Symposia for the Legislative Journal. She also completed a judicial internship with the Hon. Ronald J. Hedges, District Court of New Jersey. After law school, Danielle served as a judicial clerk with the Hon. Stephen J. Bernstein, Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County.
Danielle was recognized by NJBIZ in its "2021 Law Power 50" and "2021 Leaders in Law" listings for her expertise and dedication to her occupation and community.
