Allentown, PA (July 26, 2010) – Tallman Hudders & Sorrentino, the Pennsylvania office of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., is pleased to welcome Saleem Mawji, Esq., Lehigh Valley native and Salisbury High School Class of 1998 Valedictorian, as an associate with the firm He joins the firm’s Litigation Group and will devote his practice to complex commercial litigation matters, health care law, and government investigations.

Mawji, a resident of Orefield, has represented companies and individuals in federal government investigations, class action lawsuits, securities suits, arbitrations, real estate disputes, and internal compliance investigations. Mawji has extensive experience with the laws governing pharmaceutical marketing and sales practices. He has assisted clients through his study and application of the Department of Justice’s Corporate Charging Guidelines.

Mawji also has experience in the area of electronic discovery. His understanding of best practices in e-discovery allows him to assist clients with managing electronic documents and prevent costly claims. He has also evaluated electronic discovery tools for overall efficiency.

He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Philadelphia Young Lawyer’s Division of the American Bar Association’s White Collar Crime Committee.

Mawji earned a J.D., magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Pennsylvania State University’s Dickinson School of Law in 2005, and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Muhlenberg College in 2002.
