EEOC Charges Increased in Fiscal Year 2016

Earlier this week, a report was released on the number of workplace discrimination charges filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) during fiscal year 2016, which ran from October 1, 2015, through September 30, 2016.  A total of 91,503 charges were filed, representing a 2.3% increase over the number of charges filed during fiscal year 2015.  » Read More

2015’s Top Ten Employment Discrimination Claims

Last week, a report was released on the number of workplace discrimination charges filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) during fiscal year 2015, which ran from October 1, 2014, through September 30, 2015.  A total of 89,385 EEOC charges were filed during that period—a small uptick from the 88,778 charges filed during fiscal year 2014.  » Read More
