Associate
Micah Brown is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and works with clients on general commercial litigation matters as well as product liability and mass tort matters. He has particular experience in the life sciences industry, regularly working with pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, chemical companies and industrial businesses.
Micah’s litigation experience includes representing a pharmaceutical manufacturer in RICO litigation as well as working on discovery research and witness preparation in matters involving opioid manufacturers. He also participated in a federal multi-district bellwether trial, representing the manufacturer of hearing protection devices. Micah has extensive experience researching, drafting, and editing pre-trial motions and memoranda of law, including motions to exclude expert witnesses, memoranda of law in opposition to class certification, Rule 12(b)(6) and 12(c) motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment.
A cum laude graduate of Cornell Law School, Micah was the senior online editor of Cornell Law Review. He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from East Stroudsburg University before receiving his M.B.A. from the American Military University. After graduating law school, Micah clerked for the Honorable John K. Bush on the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.
Prior to attending law school, Micah served as an officer in the United States Air Force and is currently a member of the New York Air National Guard.
