Associate
Michael Belostock is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and focuses on complex commercial litigation in the state and federal courts of New Jersey.
Michael has experience in a diverse set of commercial disputes, providing strategic counsel in resolving complex litigation for individuals and businesses. He has handled all stages of commercial litigation in multiple practice areas, including contract, construction, commercial landlord-tenant, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and civil conspiracy matters.
Michael earned his J.D. from Hofstra Law School and his B.A. from Rutgers University. After graduating law school, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Francis R. Hodgson, Jr. in the New Jersey Superior Court. Upon completing his clerkship, Michael served as an assistant prosecutor in the Office of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office where he practiced in the Grand Jury Unit.
Lead attorney defending member’s interest in a complex litigation matter involving a dissolved limited liability company. Successfully asserted violations of the Revised Uniform Limited Liability Act against the other members and enforced client’s rights to distribution of the sale proceeds of the company under the terms of the operating agreement.
