Shana Siegel, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., and Chair of its Elder Care and Special Needs Law Practice Group, will present an upcoming LawPracticeCLE live webinar, "Representing Vulnerable Seniors: Special Issues in Representation and Advocacy" on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST.
This course will address the unique issues that arise in representing vulnerable seniors, especially those without family. We will discuss risks faced by vulnerable adults and potential ways we can reduce the potential for exploitation. We will also discuss legal remedies to stop neglect and exploitation and to recover against the perpetrator. We will highlight ethics concerns in dealing with clients with diminished capacity and serving as fiduciary.
