New York, NY (June 6, 2011) – Jeanne M. Hamburg, a Member of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will participate in webcast, entitled “Ethics for the Trademark Practitioner: A Global Perspective,” from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., on June 22, 2011. The webcast is being hosted by the International Trademark Association (INTA).
Hamburg, along with rest of webcast panel, will examine the ethical issues concerning the limits on attorney conduct for trademark practitioners around the globe. The panelists will cover representations by attorneys concerning the scope of their practice and experience, solicitations by attorneys, attorney contact with represented and unrepresented parties, and unauthorized practice of law by a trademark attorney. Attendees will learn about the ethical rules and laws that govern such attorney conduct in the United States, as well as internationally. For more information, visit INTA’s website.
