Steven Karg to Discuss Developments in Class Action Litigation

Bridgewater, NJ (May 27, 2011) – Steven A. Karg, a Member of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will participate in a panel discussion entitled “The Evolving World of Handling Mass Tort Claims,” presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE), on Thursday, June 2, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. His topic will be “Developments in Class Action Litigation.”

In addition to Karg, the distinguished panel includes Superior Court Judges, currently assigned to hear these matters; a Special Master; a plaintiff’s attorney, and private consultants. They will discuss the new Medicare Law concerning settlements; recent developments in Asbestos cases; recent developments in class action practice; the trials and issues of interest occurring in the Mass Tort Courts over the last year and how each Mass Tort Judge views specific issues.
