Jeanne M. Hamburg, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., along with Marcus Guiliano, business speaker, author, and restaurant owner, will co-present “How to Implement Psychology Based Marketing on All Your Platforms and Protecting and Merchandising Your Restaurant Brand” for the International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York.

The annual event, featuring over 40 education sessions and over 500 of the leading vendors serving the restaurant and foodservice industry, is being held March 8-10 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York. Hamburg and Guiliano will speak on Monday, March 9, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., in room 1C02, listed as session number M110.
In their session, Hamburg will cover how to protect and enforce rights in a restaurant’s name, design, and website content; protect a restaurant from copycats; and create new revenue streams through merchandising a restaurant’s brand while Guiliano will cover the top psychology triggers to use in emails, websites, business cards, and other guest interactions.

Hamburg frequently speaks and writes about intellectual property topics for food, beverage, restaurant, and hospitality trade groups, and is a member of the Specialty Food Association, New York State Restaurant Association, New Jersey Food Processors, and Brewers Association. She is also a member of the Copyright Society of the USA and the International Trademark Association (INTA), currently serving on its Leadership Development Committee. Hamburg attended Wellesley College, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and received her B.A., magna cum laude, in English and Psychology, with Honors in English, in 1987. In 1990, she received her J.D. at Columbia University School of Law, where she was editor of the Columbia Law Review.
Guiliano is a two-time business author, international Speaker, Forbes Business Council Contributor, restaurant owner, and restaurant success coach. Founder of the Restaurant Growth Secrets University, he is dedicated to helping other business owners prosper.
