David Vozza Speaks to Onondaga County Medical Society
David N. Vozza, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., presented “Insurance Audits – Recent Trends” at the Ask the Carriers Conference, sponsored by the Onondaga County Medical Society, virtually on June 29.
“Challenging unfavorable audit findings and overpayments can be daunting but are largely preventable. Recognizing and identifying opportunities to stem audits before they occur is essential for any health care practitioner,” said Vozza, who spoke about what to expect in the audit process, preventing audits and overpayments, and real-world case examples.
