Norris McLaughlin, P.A., is proud to announce our inclusion in JD Supra’s “2019 Readers’ Choice Awards,” which acknowledges top authors and firms for their thought leadership in key areas. Recognized as top authors are Raymond G. Lahoud and William C. Menard for publications in our Immigration Blog, and Andrew D. Linden for his publications in our Liquor Law Blog. Lahoud has also, once again, been ranked the #1 author in JD Supra’s Immigration category.

Additionally, Menard’s publication “The Weekly Round-Up: Skilled Immigrants Dominate Silicon Valley, White House Squares Off Against Sanctuary Cities, and Immigrant U.S. Soldiers Sue for Citizenship” was recognized as among the most popular with readers in 2018.

Lahoud, a Member of the firm and Chair of its Immigration Law Practice, focuses his practice exclusively on immigration law and deportation defense for individuals, families, small to large domestic and multinational businesses and corporations, employers, international employees, investors, students, professors, researchers, skilled professionals, athletes, and entertainers, in every type of immigration or deportation defense matter—whether domestic or foreign. Lahoud earned his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Lehigh University and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

Menard, an Associate of the firm, is a leading immigration law and deportation defense attorney.  He has represented both individual and corporate clients in all facets of immigration law, has appeared on behalf of clients in deportation proceedings before immigration courts throughout the country, and has represented clients from six continents.  Menard earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2012 and his B.A. in Government at Claremont McKenna College in 2009.

Linden, a Member of the firm and co-chair of its Cannabis Law Group, focuses his practice on representing clients in the alcoholic beverage and cannabis industries. Linden counsels alcoholic beverage manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers in all facets of their business. These include licensing and regulatory compliance, business formation, and product labeling. Linden attended Seton Hall University School of Law, where he received his J.D., cum laude, in 2007.  He earned a B.S., with honors, from Lehigh University in 2004, majoring in Accounting and Marketing.
