Mo Bauer to Speak at NJ CLE Panel Discussion
Morris S. Bauer, a Member of law firm Norris McLaughlin, P.A., will be a panelist for “Small Business and Individual Chapter 11 Cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey,” on Wednesday, March 13, 8:30 – 10:00 a.m., at K&L Gates in Newark.
Hosted by the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation of New Jersey and the Essex County Bar Foundation, the panel will cover small business filing and chapter 11 cases. A resident of Long Valley, Bauer is a member of the Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Group at Norris McLaughlin. He represents debtors, creditors’ committees, financial institutions, landlords, and trade creditors in Chapter 11 proceedings of publicly and closely-held corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships.
Bauer is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association (Debtor/Creditor Section), the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Turnaround Management Association. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, the U. S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Bauer earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, and his B.S. from Dickinson College.
