NMM Women’s Forum to Sponsor
Somerset County “Girls on the Run” Race

SOMERVILLE, NJ – Norris McLaughlin, P.A. is pleased to announce that the NMM Women’s Forum has pledged its support to the Somerset County Girls On the Run (GOTR) race to be held on June 11, 2007. The race will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Duke Island Park, located on Old York Road in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

The NMM Women’s Forum is a platinum-level financial sponsor for this race and several NMM Women’s Forum members will volunteer on race day to asisst with the race activities.

“The NMM Women’s Forum and the GOTR program share the goal of fostering an atmosphere where women can utilize their individual talents and abilities to become leaders in their communities. Therefore, it seems fitting that the Forum sponsor this race. We feel that these girls are tomorrow’s leaders,” said GOTR Race Committee and NMM Women’s Forum Member Deanna L. Koestel.

Girls on the Run is a program for girls in grades 3-5 which strives to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. The ten-week program culminates with the girls running a 5K race. The program currently serves more than 500 girls in the Somerset County area and continues to grow. The NMM Women’s Forum is a group comprised of women attorneys who excel in nearly every area of law and whose mission is to promote the advancement of women by drawing on the particular legal expertise of each woman attorney to make business and charitable connections with other women leaders throughout New Jersey and New York.
