Norris McLaughlin, P.A. Receives CIANJ “Companies that Care” Award
The law firm of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., was named one of the “Companies that Care” at The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) and COMMERCE Magazine’s Fifth Annual Chairman’s Reception – paying tribute to the kindness and generosity of the business community. Norris McLaughlin, P.A. was among the 39 companies named “Champions of Good Works” by a blue ribbon panel of judges at the reception on Tuesday, March 20 at Nanina's in the Park.
The firm received the award for their support of active duty military and veterans. As part of their annual Thanksgiving charitable initiative, the firm hosted fundraisers and collection drives throughout the year to benefit multiple charities including Pets for Patriots, Your Grateful Nation, United War Veterans Council, Operation Gratitude, and Wounded Warrior Project.
The reception was dedicated to recognizing extraordinary acts of kindness from member companies and/or their employees. The deeds honored exemplify the power of generosity and how it can help an individual overcome an ordeal, enable a cause to fulfill its mission and, in some cases, assist a community in recovering from turmoil.
