Norris McLaughlin Welcomes Three New Associates
The law firm of Norris McLaughlin, P.A., is pleased to welcome Daisy Bao, Joseph Ross, and W. Joseph Salvador as Associates. Bao joins the firm’s Business Law Group in New York and Ross and Salvador join the firm’s Litigation Practice Group in New Jersey.

About Daisy Bao
Bao advises clients on general business topics, including organization and formation, corporate governance, lease negotiations, and financing. She has experience working with financial services clients on registration statements, private placement memorandums, and purchase agreements supporting offerings and has counseled public companies on Exchange Act compliance.
Prior to joining Norris McLaughlin, Bao worked as a law clerk with clients in the financial industry, providing support on drafting contracts and conducting research and due diligence.
Bao is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School. She is fluent in Chinese and received her undergraduate degree from Xiamen University in Xiamen, China.
About Joseph Ross
Ross represents clients in all aspects of the defense process and is skilled in the defense of complex, multi-party, multi-claims actions. He has experience in risk mitigation compliance guidance in environmental and professional liability matters. Ross has worked on issues involving ground contamination, underground storage that included insurance issues as well as multi-party, excess/umbrella policy questions, and coverage disputes. He has also handled matters involving the Spill Act and CERCLA.
Prior to joining Norris McLaughlin, Ross worked for a national financial and business litigation law firm. He has additional experience working for the New Jersey Department of Children and Families as an Attorney Regulatory Officer.
Ross received his J.D. from the Temple University Beasley School of Law and served as a compliance and litigation paralegal at the Philadelphia Housing Authority. He also worked as a judicial law clerk to Judge Joseph F. Kameen and Gregory H. Chelak. Ross received his undergraduate degree from Saint Joseph’s University
About W. Joseph Salvador
Salvador focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, defending companies across a variety of industries in toxic tort, commercial and employment litigation. He works collaboratively with litigation teams on document analysis and document preparation, efficiently managing multiple cases from the initial pleadings through trial. Salvador is able to conceptualize and execute litigation strategy and motion practice during discovery, keeping clients informed of their case throughout the process.
Prior to joining Norris McLaughlin, Salvador worked for a regional civil litigation firm as an associate where he defended national transit carriers, mortgage servicing companies, and construction entities in litigation and represented clients at mediation, arbitration, and settlement conferences. Salvador received his J.D. from Rutgers University Law School and worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Angela White Dalton in the Family Division of the New Jersey Superior Court and as a judicial intern for Senior Judge Helen Gillmor in the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii. He received his undergraduate degree from The George Washington University.
